Pete J. Georgis is an Associate at Rice Reuther Sullivan & Carroll, LLP focusing his practice on real estate and corporate transaction matters. He has a broad range of experience in business and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial sales and acquisitions, commercial financings, leasing and all aspects of due diligence investigations. Pete counsels entrepreneurs on the formation of their companies, equity structures and negotiations with investors.
Pete graduated from the Golden Gate University School of Law and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Golden Gate University Law Review. During law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Securities Fraud Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California and as a judicial extern for Chief Magistrate Judge Maria-Elena James in the Northern District of California.
Prior to law school, Pete worked on the Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions desk for Bear Stearns & Co. and J.P. Morgan in New York City.
Pete is licensed to practice in Nevada and California.
