Renee R. Reuther is a founding partner of Rice Reuther Sullivan & Carroll, LLP. Renee is a native Las Vegan who has practiced law in Nevada for more than 30 years representing real estate developers, borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants in a broad range of real property transactions.
Renee’s practice is concentrated in the areas of acquisition and disposition of real property; commercial, residential and mixed-use planned developments; commercial finance including loan originations, loan acquisitions, loan workouts and restructurings, foreclosure and other enforcement actions; opinion letter practice; and a broad range of complex real estate matters. She has been extensively involved with both buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of commercial, office and retail developments and undeveloped land, and routinely represents national, regional and local homebuilders and developers in connection with master planned residential projects, mixed-use projects and condominium developments.
Renee is a 1990 graduate, cum laude, of Gonzaga University School of Law and a 1987 graduate, cum laude, from Gonzaga University. She is admitted to the Nevada bar and has served on the Real Estate Section Subcommittee on Common Interest Communities of the State Bar of Nevada. Renee is also a member of the Community Association Institute and has served on its Legislative Action Committee.
Over the years, Renee has been a presenter at seminars and professional associations on a variety of topics, including real estate development, foreclosures, legal opinions and ethics.
Renee currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Gonzaga University and on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada State Campus Lands Corporation in support of the Nevada State University (formerly Nevada State College). She has served as past president and long standing member of the board of trustees for New Vista Ranch, a local non-profit organization devoted to providing homes, employment and support for adults with developmental disabilities. Renee is a graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2003.
